what stock funds are good for investing now?

I am aware the market is down due to credit crisis.

Are blue chip funds down the toilet permanently?

If someone said yes, would you believe it?
If someone said no, would you believe it?
If someone said maybe, would you believe it?

Here is one abbreviation you might have heard of.

My answer is, of course, #2, as in the number in my user alias.

Low-fee funds are good for investing, if you can bear the risks of entering the stock market. Investing within your risk tolerance is good. Beyond it is bad. Nobody here can tell you if any particular active fund manager is going to have golden performance, and most likely any technical analysis you do will not reveal that information either...

If blue chip companies are down the toilet permanently, then we have alot to worry about...
But what you lack in confidence regarding the market can be made up for in confidence regarding yourself as an investor.
