Which gender most influences home purchasing decisions?

I had a chuckle at this cartoon but suspect that filliping the gender might better reflect reality. Thus the poll question.

Depends on the culture. I know of several houses sold to asians, where the first time the females see the house is when they move in.

I agree it is culture dependent. Only once did I pick out a house (rental on ex-pat assignment) without the pre-physical inspection by spouse, and even then, I took many, many digital pics first and sent them to her before making a commitment.

There are many decisions made before the final choice of just which home is suitable. In contemporary Western culture the woman is the head but the man is the neck, and can turn the head toward what he wants her to look at.
