I went to Interest Plus™ savings account. Buried in there was a link to interest rates that I missed the first time. OTOH their competitors post the rates in bold type.

In case anyone's interested, HSBC appears to still be offering an introductory rate of 3.50% until march...drops to 2.5% after that though I think...

You can bet if Carney drops the BOC rate further on Mar 3, there will be continued decreases across the board. It is anyone's guess who has what rates when. I will live with switches between my existing PC Financial and ETrade Cash Optimizer accounts.

Hi, Long time reader, first time posting. Absolutely fantastic forum!

From the previous posts, I understand that MIP510 and DYN500 both offer no-load, no transaction fees, no hold. So they are perfect for parking cash inside TDW SDRRSP. Do forum members prefer one over the other?
Today's update of the usual suspects:

MIP510 2.15% since Jan 13
DYN500 2.15% since Jan 14
RBF271 2.05% today
MFC298 1.37% today
TDB164 0.97% today

RBF271 has been holding fairly close to MIP & DYN for a while now - it's available on-line at TDW (min order $1000 no 90-day hold). TDB has really dropped off the cliff.
Looking at the Dundee site, it looks like DYN500 was adjusted to 2% on Feb 5

They are virtually identical in terms of their attributes. Both are insured by CDIC up to $100K. Both have 1 day settlement. Both have $1k minimum purchase at TDWH. DYN500 can be traded online, but MIP510 is only traded by phone at TDWH. I just choose whichever is offering the higher interest rate.

This thread is about savings account rates. You appear to be quoting a 2 year GIC rate, which does not apply to this thread.
